(1) Did you get a chance to look at the American 25 at Elizabeth City?
(2) Does this cruise replace the East Coast Cruise 2000 (National Sea Base to
Pamlico Sea Base) you proposed earlier?
(3) Is the "cat cruise" info what you want me to put in the newsletter
currently "under "construction?
(4) Are you still up for the Hobie Regatta in Aurora in September?

<< SSS#1 of Va Beach Va, Tidewater Council is hosting a 1400 mile sail by
catamarans from Key West, Fla to Va Beach, Va in July-August of 2000. The
trip is expected to take 30 days. It is open to all sea scout ships with
Hobie, Prindle, Nacra type beach cats.
Catamaran Magazine will cover our trip. We are seeking positive feedback
from any ship or scouter that will offer support or positive advice. Ships
are welcome to join us and depart the fleet according to its time resources.
A list of stops is being planned by the crew. An extensive list of safety
equipment and training is being reviewed. Worrell 1000 sailors are
consulants for the Ft Laurderdale north legs, and Catamaran magazine is
helping us with the southern legs.
We would enjoy and appreciate help from ships located along the legs for
support, lodging, etc.
Bill Setzer, Skipper
SSS#1, Tide Water Council
