A bit of history, if you are not aware, The Sandpebble, in real life is the
first USS Asheville, and saw duty in China for a long time before trying to
outrun the Japanese fleet. she was sunk on 3 March 1942 in the Java Sea.
The SSS Asheville proudly wears the numbers 758, the hull number of the
current (#4 - the interveneing two were retired) USS Asheville, a Los Angeles
class nuke sub, currently stationed in Pearl Harbor.
We try to live up to the standards of the USS Asheville, I will not allow any
of the crew to sell Chinese (or any) women.
