Long Cruise Opportunity
Tue, 08 Jun 1999 12:33:14 -0700
This message is to announce that the SSS Propeller, Ship 62 out of
Seattle, WA has space available for our '99 Long Cruise through the San
Juan Islands and on to Desolation Sound in British Columbia. This is a
co-ed cruise. We will be sailing out of Seattle on August 9, and
returning on Aug. 24. The total cost is $275, with a $50 deposit
(non-refundable) required to hold your bunk. We currently have 8 crew
bunks and 1 adult bunk available, but this can change on a daily basis.
The Propeller is a 65 ft. steel-hull converted Army T-boat, and cruises
at about 10 knots. There will be ample opportunity for all crew to
practice navigation, helm, engine maintenance, anchoring, and small boat
handling skills, to name a few things.
If you are interested and would like more information, please contact me
(My apologies if you read this info previously...I goofed and
accidentally sent a note to the whole list instead of one recipient.
I'm still learning :-)...)
