Me first mate, tells me my last sentence is dumber than the pier piling our
Black Ship is tied too. Sea Base, is south of the Chesapeake Bay, way, way
down the coast in North Carolina on the Palmico Sound up the river from New
Bern, haunts of me old sailing pal Eddie Teach, who owns the Ed Teach
Institute of Maritime Business and Law, and bar and grill, and who has been
known from time to time to sponsor outlaw Sea Scout Ships who could not get
for one reason or another, sponsors to sponsor them ! Ain't piracy grand ?
Pass the rum lads, I is jist getting fired up !
And being a loyal member of the USCGA , the OD jist called and said a 250
METER ship was aground out of the channel off our beach and did I want to run
out wit them fer a peek. Yeah, right, in 6 ft building seas, at night, on a
41 ft boat ! Told'em I would meet them fer breakfast on the mess deck in the
morn. By the Great Sea Gods, it is nice being able to politely say NO when
free duty calls. My swamp and gator Alphonso buddy down in Lousina knows
about the Ches Bay channels, eh Cpn ?
Bless ye one and all
