Ahoy the Scout net: There are, I'm sure, those who wonder why some of
us delve into the maritime past, mourning the passing of things
antiquated by either time and technology or both. It is simple, yet for
some, difficult to comprehend primarily because of the "Invincibility"
youth. You see, "The past is prologue." and "He who does not study the
past, is doomed to repeat it."
Then there is the "sigh" that I whisper during some of our Ship's
musters..."Is not youth wasted on the young?" Now if you are between
the ages 14 and 20 and in Sea Scouts, what do you think about the above
statements and do you think this is a net for all Sea Scouts or just
their leaders? Why?
