Thank you, Chris! I thought my previous message made it relatively clear that
Ship 12's membership disagreed that Crackerjacks were appropriate *for them*.
That said, I would like to conduct an informal poll (OFF NET!!!).
It seems that a majority of the messages coming across the net favor the
USN/USCG formal uniforming, but I know of several very strong programs that
have relatively informal uniforms. I'd like to see if the lack of responses
from those ships is simply a lack of desire to enter this fray. If you choose
to respond, please send mail to email@example.com and include the following:
Formal Uniform type (USN, USCG, white shirt/blue pants, blue polo/kakhi pants,
program strength (Do you think your program is active/inactive,
strengthening/weakening: remember, honesty counts here :))
ship type (Do you consider your ship White, Blue, or Red?)
comments (if desired. Are you happy with your uniforms? do you think they
