Mark: YOu might want to veryify what your council is telling you by
calling risk management at national. When I spoke to them a few years
ago, I was told what I posted.
I actually had a copy of the policy and did a review (I am a licensed
Ins agent) and fond what they told me to be correct. Now since it was a
few years ago, could have changed.
As respects the physical damage (called hull) no coverage is available
from National. There are several markets that were very interested at
that time in providing. If you have a serious desire, check with a
local agent for "commercial" marine.
