This is key. Our ship has historically done this by being present at major
Scouting activities such as Scout Fair and by doing service projects at the
Boy Scout camps in the Council. These things WILL help you - for example,
we do a service project every spring at the Scout Camp and then in the fall
we get to use it for a fun weekend at minimal cost. By actually helping
out the Council, the Council is more likely to help you.
