Summer Long Cruise Plans

In an effort to change the thread as the good Commodore requested, I'll throw out our plans for our
Long Cruise. In an effort to explore new waters and sailing conditions, our Ship is going to sail the
Schooner Edna out of Boston to where the wind takes us. We've spent years sailing the upper
Potomac and Chesapeake Bay, so coastal conditions in New England will be a welcomed change,
especially in August when we get 95 degree, windless days down here. Does anyone have any
recommendations on shore based activities in the Boston area that might be interesting to our Sea
Scouts? Also, does anyone have any suggestions on inexpensive or free shore berths in the area?
We'll need accommodations for a couple of nights either side of our cruise.
Now that all that's said, I really want everyone to know my personal opinions about BSA,
homosexuals, and morality .... (just kidding, Bruce!)
