I'm going to wade into this with the concept of morals.
I'm Australian and Proud of it. What we here in Australia now have trouble
coming to terms with is guns. Guns are now basically an immoral instrument
that is not necessary in our every day lives. Basically the only people who
need a gun is farmers and the armed forces. It is now illegal to have an
automatic weapon of any descrition and semi automatic weapons have also been
It is now not exceptable or allowed as a scouting activity to do anything
that may do with guns and this includes skirmish (the game).
So it is difficult for to understand the concept of the constitution of the
USA of the "Right to bear arms" and that there is something like 190 million
guns for 250 million people (I could be totally wrong). We see far more
American films that involve guns than you would from any other culture.
So what is the morality of owning a gun?
