First Nighter agenda

Having run several first nighters and been part of god knows how mnay
others, I will agree with Mr.McKormic that 361 does try and make their
first nighters as enjoyable as possible (considering our profound sense
of humor, it's not very difficult.) I'm surprised that Katie claims to
have forgotten any of it...seeing as she was Bosun for 2 years...been a
mate for as long as i've been there (4 years I believe) and who knows
how many she was "simply" a part of. I guess I'll have to heckle her
with something over spring break...
anyways. Yes. Katie was right on the money. We've gotten a good deal of
people from those first nighters, and they usually bring some of their
friends with them because the friends hear how much fun it was, and so
on. But let's not forget the important of going to Boy Scout and Girl
Scout troops and presenting the program. There's ungodly potential to
get older Boy and Girl Scouts that love scouting and just need a good
healty (and not to be rude or blunt, a co-ed) change of scenery.
Land Locked in Oklahoma......
ps-Does anyone know of any Scout Ships in the Oklahoma City area? I want
to get more involved again (college kinda hurts that, doesn't it?) and I
have been craving a good sail like none other.
