Fellow Sea Scouters:
I did a little telephoning on the question of council software's ability
to track Sea Exploring (and other Exploring) advancement and this is what I
came up with.
The folks in the National Exploring Division understand that the
new computer system allows councils to tailor advancement and recognition
programs to meet their needs.
The advancement software will be set up to track all adults and youth in
any program as needed. Presumedly your council will want to be able to
track Exploring adult and youth in our recognition programs such as the
Gold, Exploring Leadership, Silver Award, Quartermaster, Cluster
Proficiency Awards, etc. The system should be able to do that.
I've been assured that they will be keeping on top of that.
