Often postings are insulting. Many times the posters try to justify
them as humour. The proof is in how they respond to private e mail
Upon finding an absurd or insulting message, the courteous thing to do
is respond privately whilst posting a reply suitable for the entire net.
Private e mail messages should receive private responses. Posting
responses to private e mail messages on the public net is the absolute
nadir of courtesy, barren of any semblance of net etiquete.
