SES32 ATLANTIS First Bridge of Honor

It has been a successful spring for Ship #32. Boatswain Aaron Wade has
successfully and single-handedly recruited 4 new members and 1 Junior Mate.
The ship's first Bridge of Honor and Awards Banquet was held May 7th. There
were 6 Apprentice rank advancements and 2 Ordinary rank advancements. Two
new members elected to have their ship's admission ceremony at the banquet
and the other two elected to have theirs on board the 47 foot Ketch
Prevailing Winds II during the spring service weekend.
Camilla Neuenfeldt has received the highest Girl Scout award - the Gold.
Aaron Wade is waiting for official confirmation from BSA National on his Boy
Scout Eagle award. The ship unanimously elected Captain Robert Hard as this
year's recipient of the SES32 Silver Anchor. Skipper Kevin Wade was
recognized with the Skipper's Key and formal presentation of his Seabadge
Both Aaron Wade and Melissa Stanislawski are working on requirements for
the youth religious awards program. Aaron Wade has earned religious awards
as a Cub Scout and a Boy Scout. His goal is to complete the requirements for
his third religious award as an Explorer plus bronze and gold palms prior to
his Eagle Scout Court of Honor.
Special certificates of appreciation were presented to Andrico's
Restaurant, Linden Presbyterian Church, Lake Fenton Sailing Club, Mr. and
Mrs. Hyde, the Flint Steelheaders, Brighton Marine, and the Flint Area Coast
Guard Auxilliary Flotilla.
