Dear Tom & Everyone Else:
It would be very nice that each net lurker <G> send a letter to
their Senators and their representative requesting a "berth" for our
National Boatswain/National Representative (a Sea Scout can be chosen
for that spot for this specific job) and, if possible, one for our
National Commodore or his representative. It would be very sad to have
this historic sail not have one of our Sea Scouts aboard. Sea Scout Paul
Siple went to the North Pole with the Navy. I'd think we could get one
to sail from Boston's Outer harbour to Marblehead, Massachusetts and
I'm sure that the navy just forgot to include a Sea Scout. I'm
equally certain that they'll allow one to participate. Our elected
officials are the ones to help us get a young woman or young man aboard.
Thanks, Tom and everyone else, for your help!
