Fellow Sea Scouters:
Thanks to the several of you who have sent along information about their
Ships. For those of you who haven't yet, please look at my message from
last week and provide the requested information. It will help us
tremendously if you could fill out the information as a form (rather than
providing a narrative that we have to extract from).
As those of you who have been closely following the web site will no doubt
note, we have been busy over the weekend. (Sorry, I was gone for several
days.) The "Ships on the 'Net" page has added about 160 units. With the
exception of 1 Malaysian Ship, all are non-traditional Sea Exploring units
from the U.S. We opted to do the non-traditional units first since it
seemed highly unlikely that we would be getting Skipper information (or
email links) from them. Traditional Ships will be done over the next few
weeks, so please have patience. There are about 400 web pages to do, and
that takes a lot of time.
You'll probably also note that the "Ships on the 'Net" page is becoming
pretty large. We're working on breaking it down by state/country to make
loading much quicker. That, along with a number of other enhancements are
"in the works" by the Web Team. Stay tuned.
