About three or four years ago, Bill Rogers polled the National Sea Scout
Committee to see whether the sail logo should be put back in the Supply
Division.s Inventory. I recall that the old design was approved and the
item was supposed to be put into production. However, my squadron has
never been able to obtain any.
If the National Supply Division has not produced them yet, it
might be best if we asked THE SHIP'S STORES to do so.
THE SHIP'S STORES is going to have First Class Anchor Flagpole
emblems available soon. That item has also been unavailable for many
years. Please post your interest in buying SAIL EMBLEMS and FIRST CLASS
ANCHOR flagpole emblems. (If you're happy with the mildewed 'E', let us
know that too.
