23' Kenner Kittiwake looking for a good home

I've been approached by someone wishing to donate a 23' Kenner Kittiwake sailboat
to a Sea Scout program. The boat was built in 1967 and is in good condition, has a
full set of sails, and everything else needed. The motor may convey, depending on
the needs of the recipient. It is currently moored in Quantico, Virginia, and has been
stored out of the water on jacks (which will transfer with the boat) in the off season.
The owner used the boat extensively in Boston, and brought the boat south when he
moved to northern Virginia. There are no problems with the boat - he just doesn't
have the time to enjoy it anymore.
Our ship (1942) has too many boats and not enough storage, so unfortunately we
cannot take possession. Please contact the owner, Kevin Naughton, directly at
540-786-8103 or e-mail him at firstname.lastname@example.org
By the way, our ship has several boats for sale, including a 25' Hunter that is in
great condition, and could be an ideal boat for a cruising family. The hunter sleeps
four, has an enclosed head, galley, sails, 9.9 hp outboard, electronics, etc. We
have raced it and cruised it this season, but can't afford the storage. Please send
me any interested buyers. Unfortunately, we can't afford to give this one away.
