Friends and shipmates
We've been offered the following which we are passing on to you:
A 1957 33' twin v-8 33' "Colonial" sportfishing boat with flying bridge, all
fiberglassed over with relatively new sink, refrigerator, etc., lots of teak
and vinyl. It is kept in Stratford, CT and has been a labor of love.
I don't think it is suitable for primary use by a Sea Scout Ship, at least
around here. Twin v-8's are fuel burners. However you might be able to work
out an arrangement with a committee member for holding the boat until sale 2
years later which might somehow benefit all concerned.
Yours in Sea Scouting,
