Richard and All:
Mike and I stopped giving to United Way years ago and began
giving directly to the local councils we support. We weren't
comfortable with ANY percentage of our donations going to pay the
huge salaries and administrative costs of the United Way. We'd
rather our money went directly to the Councils.
Just my ten cents...
