I hope people write letters to the editor correcting Ms. Zernike's surprisingly biased article in every newspaper that it appears in (and it is appearing in a lot of newspapers around the country). It is full of slanted truths, and down right inaccuracies. For example, it makes it sound like there is a huge movement amonst United Ways to pull away from supporting the BSA. There isn't. Less than 1% of the United Ways are doing anything, and many of those are simply shifting funds to LFL. But there are so many things in this article that are slanted and wrong. What should we do? Sit back and take it?
