Perhaps the best question to ask is: what is your budget? We drove to
Seabase in 1999 in a Suburban owned by one of the parents. As a result, we
travelled for $650, including the seabase fee. We could not go for much
more than that, because of the economics of our troop.
I don't know anyone who's flown; lots of the crews that were with us did
fly, but we didn't discuss it. Again, cost appears to be the biggest
factor, from those I've talked to, in getting to Seabase.
