I'm not sure he is trying to "convince" anyone. The Central Florida Council
has, in fact, had significant growth in membership for the last several
years. (No, I haven't done the research to specify the numbers) Our camp HAS
undergone significant improvements.
- New Dining Hall
- New First Aid building
- New Latrines at all campsites
- ADDED campsites to accommodate growth
- New Trading Post
- New Activity Shelters started
And more besides.
Every area of the country is different. Personally, I found our Troop's
experience at the Twin River Council's Camp Wakpominee to be SUPERB! Maybe
the employment climate and relative level of population growth has something
to do with different Council experiences?

When next at Camp Wakpominee, please say "hi" to Steve from our Troop.
