Right Answer, wrong reason.
The attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan took place in March 1981. In
July 1985, Reagan was recovering from surgery and unable to attend. I
believe it was some sort of colon surgery, possibly the removal of a polyp.
However, Nancy Reagan did address one of the arena shows (memory fading as
