Whether you spend days strategizing your voting decision,
vote emotionally, vote logically, vote with your left brain,
vote with your right brain, vote for a write-in candidate,
leave the ballot blank or tilt at windmills, the only
*wasted* vote is the vote not cast.
That's not just IMHO; BSA thinks so too. During the
presidential election years of the '50s, the BSA
participated in a national "Get out the vote" campaign.
So here's the contest:
The first person to reply and tell me what the BSA did
during the get out the vote campaigns of the 50's wins a
shiny new Colonial Virginia Council CSP. The answer I'm
looking for is an object (or "thing").
This is an equal opportunity contest open to Democrats,
Republicans, Independents, Anarchists, Monarchists,
Imperialists, Libertarians, Unitarians, octogenarians,
liberals, conservatives, socialists, lesbians, gays,
transgendered, gender neutral, gender confused, free
thinkers, freemasons and free Willy.
Decision of the judges is final, no purchase necessary, void
where prohibited by law and other standard disclaimers....
