At 10:42 -0400 on 8/21/00, Rick Seymour spake about Unitarian /
Liberal Scouting Listserv:

I cannot answer that question as it assumes facts not in evidence.
However, if there are folks around who do not appear to understand
me, I would take that as another instance of failure of
communication, which is THE major problem of the country today. When

No. Most of my friends are aware that a vote for Nader is a vote for
Bush. Some of those friends therefore try to encourage liberals to
vote for Nader, while I try to encourage liberals not to throw votes

Don't recall many bad times that way, to be truthful.

I subscribe to Scouts-L, Arrow-L, Brotherhood-L, Vigil-L, DPSG-Liste,
and Pfadi-Liste (the latter two being efforts to keep my German up to
speed and justify my Deutsch strip, as well as piquing my interest).
I wish the folks on uu-list well in their endeavors, but hope they
will also keep in touch with the mainstream.
We do not need to Balkanize American Scouting.
