A group of Eagle Scouts performed a flag ceremony at the democratic convention.
Unfortunately, the California deligation didn't behave themselves.
(CNSNews.com) - Support for homosexual rights has become such a key part of the Democratic
dogma, that California delegates to the Democratic National Convention actually booed a group of
Boy Scouts - Eagle Scouts - who took part in the convention's opening ceremonies, the
Washington Times reports Friday. Members of the California delegation booed and held up signs
reading, "We Support Gay Boy Scouts," when the group appeared on the stage - at the invitation
of the Democratic Party. Earlier this year, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the Boys Scouts have the
right to ban homosexual scout leaders, and it's that decision the delegates said they were booing -
that and the fact that the Democratic Party invited the Scouts to participate in opening ceremonies.
The Los Angeles Council of Boy Scouts reportedly was shocked by the negative reception. The
Washington Times says the boys themselves didn't hear the boos because of all the noise in the
convention hall - but an adult leader did hear it.
