When we come back from summer camp and have that mammoth COH where all the
boys get tons o stuff, we have it outside in a forrest location. Once all
the parents have gathered, the fire is lit by two MOS Firebuilders, a Tom
Tom Beater starts drumming and all of our Micosay and OA members come out
of the woods from different directions in costume and gather for the
ceremony. It's very impressive for the parents and younger scouts. We
follow it up with a crackerbarrel.....good time to talk to parents about
scout vs school activities, get a critique of summer camp from the parent's
BLUE SKIES!, Any day above ground is a good day!
