Just a follow up to those interested. We had an absolutely wonderful Court of Honor for our Eagle Scout and Gold Award Recipient. At the opening Flag Ceremony Girl Scouts presented the Texas and Girl Scout flag and the Boy Scouts presented the US and Boy Scout flag. The girl scout executive presented the girl scout history and requirements for the Gold Award. The Boy Scout Exec was not able to attend the meeting so we had a member of the boys troop present the boy scout history and requirements for Eagle. The Eagle Gold charge was presented by the pairs older brother who is an Eagle Scout. Awards were presented to the scouts by the person of their choice (very special to them). Guest speakers talked, Flags were presented, letters were read and by the time the slide show was over most had shed a few tears. Needless to say the Scouts had an experience they will never forget, nor will their parents.
Thanks to all those that sent in ideas and responded to the previous post.
