Cliff was generous enough to send a copy of their Scout-completed Troop
Report Card to me last week, and I must say, it was very well receieved in
our Troop. The PLC liked the idea of using it, the Adult Leaders liked it
and the idea of using it, and every Scout in attendance this past week at
the Troop meeting filled it out.
Looking at their responses, we are sitting pretty good as a Troop, but can
always use improvements. Thus, the report card. The Scouts were very honest
and upfront in their responses and, only one, had any un-"Courteous"
answers. We will definitely evaluate their responses at our Troop
Operations Session this weekend at Sheppard AFB.
Thanks again, Cliff. This list has been great. Keep up the good work, y'all!

change. Cliff hit it right on the head. It is "their troop and their
program". It is our job as adults to turn their plans and dreams into

everything we hate about work; evaluations, parental commitment forms,
standards of behavior are brought into the troop so we create an
environment that is as structured as the one we leave at 5 o'clock. In
this type of environment, the workers are always presumed to be wrong and
