This was the title of a dining hall program feature this past summer at
Camp Geiger near St. Joseph, MO. Scouts got a numbered ticket and the
contestant was chosen by draw. Patterned after Who Wants to be a
Millionaire? the scout was asked six questions. After three he got a prize
from the trading post. Each additional question resulted in a more
significant prize. They did it all up with staging, stools, etc.
They allowed lifelines--poll the audience (not a good choice since scouts
often tried to confuse the contestant), 50-50, or ask you scoutmaster.
It was a pretty good training method in addition to being entertaining
program. After meals, I often heard the scouts asking each other if they
knew the answers to some of the questions.
