Good day everyone,
I was recently selected to be the keynote speaker at my Council's Eagle
Recognition Dinner this coming August. The dinner is attended by this years
class of Eagle Scouts as well as Business executives from around the state
who sponsor one Eagle Scout to attend the dinner. The Eagles spend a day
with the business executives and take time to talk about the future.
My part comes in at dinner where they would like me to speak for two to
three minutes about what being an Eagle Scout means to me, and what being an
Eagle Scout means to others.
So, I am asking for your help. If you are a Scouter who has feelings on
being an Eagle Scout, please let me know what the Eagle badge means to you.

delivered to those in the Scouting program and those who may not be closely
involved, please send me your thoughts as well.
