<< I just bought a '00, 1 ton, Chev crew cab (4-door),454, 8' bed
pick-up truck, (a long beast it is and boy is it thirsty!!) and I was
told that such a vehicle is nicknamed a "Cowboy Cadillac" down in
Texas........is this true??
Can only take four scouts, but hauls ALL of the Patrol boxes and
tents and other stuff when the "little" Suburbans, with their 350
engines, can't handle it all............. >>
DAN -- In Texas where I live that is called a home. The Texans out here
can't afford them... to expensive on gas... and so they just park them
outside of their home (which many times is plywood with a lot of duct
tape)... I hope you haul more than scouts!! My Astro Van (Poor Mans
Suburban) carries 7-8 and with a trailer it hauls everything..... and half
the price... lol .... Can you tell I'm not a true Texan..
P.S. Most Trucks in Texas have never had one drop of cow manure in it...
smells up the velour seats and carpet .... Just having fun.....
