Can you give me a list of say, 10 things your committees needs to vote on?
This may sound dumb, but my son's troop which runs quite well has a
committee, that is there is a lady who writes checks when called upon and
balances the books and a CC who signs his name when called upon and checks
out the occasional new leader, but otherwise the SM and the SAs do all the
work and planning and campouts, etc. working with the PLC. There are about
a half adozen adults registered as MCs who are called upon for the Board of
reviews. Now we are only talking about a troop with 24 boys and about 16 SAs
so it's a small troop with a lot of registered adults who could conceivably
actually be a part of a committee. It's been this way for 75 years but I
don't really recalling a need to vote on much.
