Even if we did as you suggested - the fact remains that a small percentage of the
Scouts (these two included) are so "blas�" they could honestly care less. This
small minority actually take a perverse pride in not accomplishing anything, and
applaud publicly their failures (compared to the other Scouts). The Scouts try to
handle this between themselves, but their positive (and encouraging) efforts do
not succeed on this group. Their parents are more concerned than the Scouts. It
is frustrating to see this occur - and I am beginning to wonder if this is not
the tip of a much bigger iceberg.
I am reminded of the old clich� - something about horses and water?
