I agree. I can however see the use for some of the modifications to
the stave ( marks for inches and feet, cross drilled hole for 90
degree, (45 degree vertical hole for shooting hight??), parachute cord
for handle, compass in the end, etc.). If it doesn't add any (or very
much) weight and it doesn't hang off the stave and I see that I might
use it I would probably do it. But as for attaching 27 film cans and
things like that I would probably have to pass.
