Oh, I don't know...from my reading of history about Custer, he was long overdue
for a hole in his publicity hunting balloon...in addition to being one of the
more arrogant self-serving officers in the US Army. He was the kind of officer
most of us who spent a career in the military would go to great lengths to
avoid serving with or under.
A note on the 4th of July message about what happened to so many of the signers
of the American Declaration of Independence...
How come so many of these courageous people were allowed to go to their graves
in poverty after losing everything as a result of supporting the rebellion?
Once established, how could the people or the government of the USA ignore the
plight of so many of its founding fathers? Where was the gratitude one would
