All age requirements are by nature arbitrary, last minute Eagles would just
become almost 17 year olds instead of 18. (you might have something with the
14 however) Be that as it may, I've always failed to see what the issue
is. It's exactly like the old joke: "what do you call the person who
graduates last in the class at medical school? answer: "DOCTOR!"
It's really "standards" that you are arguing, and if anyone finds a way to
see that any 2 SMs/Troops/BORs or Mothers can interpret standards
identically, let alone a country full of us, than please, please share it
now and we'll move onto something more doable like getting pigs to fly!
