Not being a council admin type, I can never be quite sure how they
derive the info that goes into the unit rosters, but in the past changes
made on the rechartering roster resulted in changes to the database.
As to the old six-part SM Training course, it may still be in the
database, but according to the last two Leadership Training Committee
Guides, 34169B and 34169C, which determine the requirements for trained
leaders, the old course with its training code of S20 has been dropped
from the list, and the new three-part Scoutmaster Fundamentals, training
code S21 is required for designation as a trained leader. This is also
reflected in the area on page 16 of this guide where it specifically
requires "the three-part Scoutmaster Fundamentals, No. 34549A." The
National Stock Number refers to the actual training course
