I know it's not contrary to BSA policy, as there's a unit in my Council
that does it.
By the way, this highlights a lack of symmetry in BSA regulations that I've
noted before. BSA units cannot take females on an outing with male-only
leadership, but they can take males on an outing with female-only
leadership. I've never gotten an explanation as to why this is.
