Troop 777 has 2 boats reserved in the "Coral Reef Sailing" program from Sat,
July 22 thru Sat July 29. As of this morning, we have not been able to fill
both boats, so would like to make them available. The program departs Sea
Base in the Florida Keys on Sun and sails to Key West and back over 5
nights. The trip is snorkel only (no scuba) and offers opportunities for
fishing, swimming, relaxing, spending a day walking around Key West, etc.
We may have pulled this off!... We do have room for a "maverick" Father/Son
or one (or two) adults and two, three or four Scouts... (We will have the
required 2-deep adult leadership and appropriate adult/Scout ratio on the
boats... however, your travel arrangements to SeaBase would need to meet the
requirements of your Unit and the parents of the Scouts)
Contact me very soon for more information. The anticipated cost of the trip
will be about $465.00/person. (Troop 777 is picking up the difference if we
do not fill both boats) Transportation to/from SeaBase is your
responsibility. You should also plan additional spending money for the day
in Key West.... Like a cheeseburger in paradise for example :)
We have to make a decision on the second boat by Thursday, June 22.
This trip should be a lot of fun...
