<< Now to the National Jamboreee and Ft A.P. Hill. Why is it that the
is held in one location. SOme of you older scouters must be able to remember
when it travelled around the country. I remember it being held in
Pennsylvania at Moraine State Park near Pittsburgh. You could see all the
tents from the Interstate and it was a beautiful site to see all the young
scouts in full uniform. I think the National Jamboree should go back to be
held around the country and not in one spot. >>
I have been feeling the same way. It may be more work to move it around from
the standpoint of planning but think of all the locations around the country.
Why limit it to one place time after time?
Let's move it around.
