I am pleased to announce that two Scouts from our troop completed
their Eagle Boards of Review on Tuesday, June 13.
James Poulos, age 14, entered Scouting as a Cub Scout and received
the Arrow of Light Award with Pack 153 on January 23, 1997, and
graduated into our troop. His positions of responsibility have included
Assistant Patrol Leader, Chaplain Aide, Patrol Leader and Assistant
Senior Patrol Leader, his current position.
James� summer camp adventures include trips to the Pirtle Scout
Reservation in 1997, Lost Pines in 1998 and the Buffalo Trail Scout
Ranch in 1999. In March, James participated in our Spring Break
Kanik Adventure at Philmont. He attended winter camp at Lost Pines
in 1997 and 1998.
James is an Ordeal Member of the Tonkawa Lodge, Order of the
Arrow. During his tenure as a Scout, James has earned 37 merit badges,
recorded 65 days and nights of camping, provided 60 service hours,
scored 100% on uniform inspections and attended 95% of our troop
James� Eagle Service Project consisted of building a three level
chin-up station and a four station inclined sit-up station at Cooper
James is an active member of Christ Lutheran Church where he has
served as an Acolyte. This fall, he will be a freshman at the
Georgetown Ninth Grade Center. Messages of congratulations may

Carl Illig, age 17, entered Scouting as a Cub Scout with Pack 151,
and transferred to Pack 405 when it was formed in October, 1990. Carl
received the Arrow of Light Award on February 15, 1994, and graduated
into our troop. He is the 8th Charter Member of Pack 405 to make
Carl�s positions of responsibility have included Patrol Leader,
Instructor, Den Chief, Venture Crew Chief, Assistant Senior Patrol
Leader, Librarian, Webmaster, Senior Patrol Leader and Junior Assistant
Scoutmaster, his current position.
Carl�s summer camp adventures include trips to the Buffalo Trail
Scout Ranch in 1994 and 1999, Camp Constantin in 1995 and Camp
Cherokee in 1996. Carl�s high adventure trips include a backpacking
and whitewater rafting adventure at the Packard High Adventure Base in
1996, Philmont Expedition 616-G-4 in 1997, a Philmont Horse Cavalcade in
1998, a trip to the Laguna Station in 1998 and our recent Spring Break
adventure at Philmont. He attended winter camp at Lost Pines in 1996,
1998 and 1999.
Carl is a Brotherhood Member of the Tonkawa Lodge, Order of the
Arrow. During his tenure as a Scout, Carl has earned 33 merit badges,
recorded 147 days and nights of camping, hiked 102 miles, provided 199
service hours, scored 98% on uniform inspections and attended 88% of our
Carl�s Eagle Service Project consisted of assembling and installing
a playscape at Grace Episcopal Church where he is an active member.
In January, Carl became the first Georgetown High School student to pass
the Microsoft NT 4.0 Workstation certification test and become a
Microsoft Certified Professional. This fall, Carl will be a senior at
