Scholastic sports only exists (or should) to teach valuable
lessons about life - competition, fair play,
*sportsmanship*, *work ethic*.........
Sports is the closest thing a student will experience to a
1. You choose to be there and no one can force you and,
2. if someone tries to force you, you won't succeed.
If you can't follow the directions of coaches and officials
in a scholastic sports setting, you are going to have *REAL*
problems dealing with attendance, task assignments,
supervisors......in a job setting.
Who won't hesitate to send a kid home on the spot for taking
off her/his hard-hat.
