I plead guilty of ignorance on this one. One, why does
your unit meeting day change? Can you swap your meeting
night with another unit? Do you meet (as a troop) weekly,
or on some other schedule?

[Assuming:] If your troop meets every week, and the OA
Chapter meets once a month, your OA Unit Rep will do your
unit more service going to the OA Chapter meeting. The
benefits he will provide to your troop will outweigh the
detriments of his missing one troop meeting a month. (If
your troop and OA Chapter meet on a different schedule,
then your mileage may defintely vary!)
