My experience is similar to what Mike originally stated--council's getting
antsy about volunteers asking for certain things or, worse, volunteers
asking for things that the council didn't even know about, or claimed not to
know about (like just about ANYTHING for venturing, for example). I have
not had any trouble asking for information from National. There are some
things that National has stated is shipped to councils--I've just given the
bin number to the council ordering person and it gets done.
