Folkmanis, Inc, Emeryville, CA, http://www.folkmanis.com does a cute
raccoon hand puppet which sells for around $14, and could easily be
converted into a mountain hat.
Although we do have road kill here, I shy away from it due to the
threat of rabies. Bleach solution may kill the virus, but why take
