Periodially the old "how do I season cast iron cookware" thread comes up and
there are lot's of answers by experienced Dutch Oven cooks on this list.
Well ask no more. Because this morning Martha Stuart showed me and the rest
of the world how on TV. Well, I've got a several dutch ovens and I've got
my shortening ready. All I need is the $3800 professional Viking range to
put the oiled pan in for an hour or so. Gee, I never knew cast iron was so
costly to use.
