scouts-l Mail Archive for June of 2000: Need a skit for camp
Thu Jun 01 2000 - 15:11:09 CDT
I am about to head off to camp and I need a new skit for the adults on our Troop
campfire night. Our Scouts come up with some good ones and it seems like lately
we adults have run dry. Hears is one that was a big hit for us in the past.
The scene is two pilots acting like their flying sitting in front with
passengers sitting behind them. A flight attendant is helping the passengers
with drinks when a passenger points out the window. The flight attendant runs up
to the cockpit.
Flight attendant: "Captain!, captain! our left engine is smoking.
Captain: (looks out his window) copilot, shut down the number one engine, but
don't worry, these modern Jets can fly with just one engine, we are fine.
The flight attendant starts helping passengers again when another points out the
window. The flight attendant runs up top the pilots again.
Flight attendant: Captain, Captain, we just lost part of our right wing.
Captain: (Captain looks out over his right) Copilot, looks like we need more
right rudder, but don't worry, these babies can fly with almost no wing.
Flight attendant goes to that back of airplane and comes running up to cockpit
Flight attendant: Captain!, captain!, our coffee maker is broke.
Captain: That's it, I have had enough. Copilot, call the tower and tell them we
are not taking off.
Have a great Scouting Summer
