I remember reading on this list some time ago several postings from scouters who had sleep apnea, and were being treated with CPAP. Particularly how they dealt with while camping.
I failed to save that information, and now could use it myself. I have just been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and will be returning to the sleep center for another night to be fitted for CPAP.
Would anyone who has experience with this as a scouter and camping please let me know how you deal with this? Do you use an automobile battery and inverter, or a special battery pack? Do you not worry with the CPAP machine on short (1 or 2) night trips? Do you avoid long trips? Any information would be appreciated.
If you wish to mail to me privately, I will post the compiled information to the list if there is any other interest.
